In this episode of the #CLP we sit down with former Toronto Maple Leafs strength coach and formulator of Biosteel Sports nutrition, Matt Nichol. Matt is a surrogate mentor to us and we have always admired his commitment to development and passion for his athletes in everything he does.We discuss Matt’s transition from football to hockey, how he became the head strength coach for the TML without ever applying, the challenges of building buy-in with high-level athletics and what inspired him to create Biosteel sports nutrition. We did this interview at his high-performance center and a few weights drop in the background for authenticity.
